We’re really getting into the serious period of Black Friday now, and that means it’s time for the serious PS5 and PS4 video game deals. We’ve got some seriously good discounts here, so it’s hard to pick my favorites (but you can absolutely bet I’m going to try).
The Last of Us Part 1 (PS5) for $49.99 is probably the price it should have shipped at in the first place – without starting arguments, it’s definitely still worth picking up if you haven’t experienced the game yet. Otherwise, Returnal is down to $29.99, and so is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Honestly, all these PlayStation game deals are top shelf for Black Friday, and you can’t go wrong – happy shopping!
Up to $25 Off DualSense Controllers for Black Friday
That’s right one of our favorite deals of the year is back with a bang, and that means you can save up to $25 on DualSense Controllers for the PS5 (and PC if you’re so inclined). Right now you can find the original DualSense for $49 at Amazon, or you can check out the range of other colors available as well.
My favorite deal from the sale is definitely on the Grey Camo version (John Cena music intensifies), as this is down from $74.99 to just $49.99 at several retailers now. I’ll leave all the relevant links just below here, and happy Black Friday to all PlayStation gamers!
Get 25% Off PlayStation Plus for Black Friday
You can currently get 25% off a whole year of PlayStation Plus. This is effective for all new, returning, or upgrading PlayStation Plus subscribers. So, for example, if you’re currently a PS Plus Essential member, you can get 12-Months of Premium or Extra at a reduced rate during the Black Friday sales. This is currently only available directly through PlayStation, so you can access the deal here, or via your PS4 or PS5 console.
Best PlayStation SSD and Storage Black Friday Deals
You’re in luck PlayStation 5 owners, as these new Black Friday deals on SSDs are absolutely perfect for anyone who hasn’t expanded their PS5 storage capabilities just yet. If you want my suggestion, go for the 2TB Samsung 980 Pro with Heatsink that’s dropped to just $189.99, otherwise, the 1TB model for $119.99 is another great deal. Accessory deals have started to pick up for PlayStation fans, with up to $25 off DualSense controllers, but there’s also plenty to check out when it comes to headsets as well. The standout for the sale will definitely be on the Pulse 3D Headset; now only $69 at several retailers.
Black Friday 2022: Where to Buy a PS5 Right Now
If you ask Amazon nicely, they might send you an invitation to buy a PS5. Not only that, but according to plenty of recent reports, it seems like Amazon is sending out an incredibly large number of invites out over the past few days, with no signs of slowing down. How to Get a PS5 From Walmart During Black Friday
If you’re hoping to buy a PS5 or PS5 bundle, your first announced opportunity will be Monday, November 21 at 12 PM ET/9 AM PT at Walmart. However, there’s a catch: that first round of Black Friday PS5s will only be available to Walmart+ members. That’s not to say it’s the only way to get your hands on a shiny new PlayStation 5 ahead of the Christmas season, but it’s the only way that’s been officially announced (so far).
Walmart+ is $12.98 for a single month, or $98 annually. There is a 30-day free trial, but sadly the free trial doesn’t entitle you to early access for Black Friday PS5 drops. You’re going to have to pay to get access.
If you’d rather not spend the money on a month of Walmart+ to get access to the PlayStation 5 consoles on Monday November 21, you still have two more chances at Walmart, chances that DON’T require membership.
