The Tidal Titan (TT) has been in Lords Mobile for a few years, but it hasn’t got any easier to beat him. Sure, he might look like a fat old dude who fell into a bucket of blue paint, but TT is no pushover. It takes planning and strategy to bring this big boy down, and that’s why you’re here, right? Can’t beat him all by yourself and need a helping hand?

I guess I can help you out. So, if you’ve been busting your tiny brains trying to figure out how to destroy this mean old boss, read on. I’ll give you some lineup pointers and tell you all about what kind of loot you can expect to nab once you finally nail the Tidal Titan for good.

How to Attack Tidal Titan?

Let’s start off with the basics: the Tidal Titan is ultra-strong against physical attacks. I mean, just look at the guy! It’s pretty obvious he can take a few punches, especially with that big ol’ beer belly of his. So, if physical damage won’t work, what should you do?

Just in case you haven’t figured it out yet, the way to beat this monster is with magical attacks.

That means you’ll want to cram a whole bunch of magic heroes into your lineup to demolish the sucker with fireballs and energy blasts over and over again until it falls down. But that’s not all. It also helps to have a healer in the pack to recover any damage after you inevitably get hit.

So, to sum up, as long as you’ve got some high-intelligence heroes and big magic damage dealers, you should be able to beat this monster. If you haven’t got any high-INT heroes, I don’t know what you’re doing with your life, and you’re probably going to struggle.

Honestly, I have to admit that luck also plays a part in beating the Tidal Titan. There are times when you’ll roll up to it with a great lineup and get a super score, then go back with the same team and end up with a much worse result. It’s all about the luck of the draw, and if you fail (you probably will), try and try again.

Tidal Titan F2P Lineup

So, who do you pick to smash the Tidal Titan and get your hands on some of those gorgeous Glistening Pearls and other rare materials? That depends on whether you’re a free-to-play (F2P) player or have money to burn for the more elite heroes.

Let’s start with the FTP crowd. I’ve found a couple of different freebie lineups that have a great chance of getting results against Tidal Titan.

But before we get to the lineups, remember the golden rule. I’ll repeat it again, just for those of you who weren’t paying attention to past cheatsheets: maxed-out heroes are always better than under-leveled characters.

So, if you’ve got some maxed-out physical fighters and low-level magic dealers, don’t mess around with the low-level guys. Hit Tidal Titan with your strongest heroes to have the best chance of survival. Now’s not the time to throw in magic dealers and cross your fingers. Go in strong, and take time to level up your magic users later.

With that said, let’s look at the lineups, beginning with a good lineup for level 1-3 Tidal Titans.

Level 1-3 Tidal Titan F2P Hero Lineup: Incinerator, Sage of Storms, Snow Queen, Elementalist, Bombin’ Goblin

The above lineup of intelligence-oriented heroes should be enough to tackle TT at low levels. But you will need more firepower as you work your way up the ranks. So, for Levels 4 and 5, wave bye-bye to the Bombin’ Goblin and Sage of Storms.

Level 4-5 Tidal Titan F2P Hero Lineup: Incinerator, Snow Queen, Elementalist, Prima Donna, Child of Light

This lineup bucks the trend by bringing in Child of Light to add a bit more strength to the pack. Prima Donna provides essential healing, while the classic Incinerator + Elementalist combo deals damage. The Snow Queen backs everybody up.

Tidal Titan P2P Lineup

If you prefer pay-to-play (P2P) to make the game easier, I don’t blame you, and you’ll have many more high-powered heroes to choose from. Still, even with all those paid heroes, I’ve found that you only really need four or five to get the job done against Tidal Titan.

Level 1-3 Tidal Titan P2P Hero Lineup: Elementalist, Incinerator, Dream Witch, Petite Devil, Storm Fox

Yes, even a P2P lineup includes a pair of freebies: Incinerator and Elementalist. What can I say? They’re just too good. If you take out either one, your overall damage output will drop, so why mess with a good (free) thing?

Again, this lineup will do for lower levels, but you may need to sub out Storm Fox for higher-level fights.

Level 4-5 Tidal Titan P2P Hero Lineup: Elementalist, Incinerator, Dream Witch, Petite Devil, Twilight Priestess

At higher levels, the stun powers of Twilight Priestess are generally more useful than Storm Fox’s abilities. This high-tier lineup also works well against anyone resistant to physical attacks, so keep it in mind and don’t come crying the next time you meet a beast with high resistance.

Tidal Titan Rewards

Now, let’s talk about the good stuff. The whole point of going through battles is to grab some loot and rewards at the end. So, what can you lay your hands on after beating TT? Here’s a list to read through if you can manage that:

• Chest (Common to Legendary, depending on the level)
• Speed Up (Between 1h and 24h)
• Shield (8h to 3d)
• Gems (200 to 1,000)
• Gold (15k to 600k)
• Glistening Pearl
• Drowned Echo
• Ocean Breeze
• Submerged Alloy

Not sure what those last four items are? Maybe the names are a little too complicated for you. No worries. They’re actually materials that you can use to make the Tidal Titan Set. This set includes some handy armor and weapons that can strengthen both infantry and cavalry attacks. Find out more in the section below.

Gears

If you can lay your hands on enough pearls, alloys, and all those other little materials listed above, you can craft some pretty interesting items. Here’s what the Tidal Titan Set includes:

• Aqua Anemone: The Aqua Anemone is an accessory that can boost infantry and cavalry attack by anywhere from 1.20% up to 11.20%. It’s not exactly a jaw-dropping piece of gear, but it’s not bad for those who focus purely on offensive output.
• Storm Tasset: Now we’re talking. If you want to know which piece of Tidal Titan gear to focus on when you first start collecting Drowned Echos and Ocean Breezes, go for the Storm Tasset. These boots boost your infantry and cavalry attack by up to 42%! They also add up to 14% to your army’s max HP and up to 28% increase in defense.
• Kraken’s Anchor: Your main-hand weapon from the Tidal Titan Set will be the Kraken’s Anchor. It’s not the best, but not the worst. It has up to 35% bonuses in infantry and cavalry attacks, combined with an 18.20% boost to infantry defense and cavalry HP.
• Call of the Deep: This off-hand choice offers up to 21% boosts in infantry and cavalry ATK, coupled with 14% HP increases (at Mythic level, obviously).

Overall, if you don’t have enough time (or energy) to get the whole set, I’d advise saving up for the Storm Tasset. It’s by far the best item of all, with the biggest boosts across the board. Kraken’s Anchor isn’t too bad, either.

Tidal Titan Packs

Just like most other monsters, you can skip the grind and hand over hard-earned cash to buy your way to success, like Tidal Titan Chests with Material Madness. Is it worth it? Hey, your money, your choice, but don’t complain to me if you’re not happy with the results.

Final Thoughts

If you’re sick of rage quitting over yet another sound beatdown by the Tidal Titan, just follow my advice. Pick the right lineup, and this monster will be an “Ocean Breeze.”

In case you forget already: stick with your major magic users, like Incinerator and Elementalist. If you can rush the Tidal Titan with a team of high-intelligence heroes, you’ll have no trouble bringing it down.
