Fortnite Weekly Quests – Big New Week 0/1 Challenges for C5

Date:

What are the Fortnite Week 0 Quests? These are all of the most recent Fortnite Weekly quests and the easiest way to get each of them done.

If you’re hoping to get through the Battle Pass quickly, the Fortnite weekly quests are one of the best features in the game. These are challenges that drop once a week, encouraging players to get involved with the new and old content in Battle Royale.

Some players might gravitate towards Creative XP maps in Fortnite for this, but Weekly quests are some of the best options otherwise. It’s a little objective you can work into your gameplay for standard rounds of Fortnite. Even as early as the Fortnite Week 0 quests, it’s good to get some XP earnt.

If you’re hoping to get the weekly quests done quickly, each has a few tricks and the best methods to use. This is how you can complete all of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Weekly Quests and the best methods for the trickier ones this time.

Fortnite Weekly Quests Chapter 5 Season 2

Fortnite Week 1 Quests

Fortnite Week 1 Quests

The week 1 quests are here! These are a fairly simple batch. There are a few that have an easier solution that might not be immediately obvious. These are the quests for this week.

Search Rare Chests or Safes (5)

The first weekly quest is a simple one, search the better rare chests or safes. The rare chests might feel easier but these are entirely RNG. Over the entire season, you might gradually complete this one of the Fortnite Week 1 quests, but you could not see one at all.

The easiest way to sort this challenge is to open safes. You can find a couple of these in most POIs if you’re searching thoroughly. Most of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 5 have these. Remember they open quicker with multiple players doing the same task.

Travel Distance While Airborne (2,000)

Wings Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

The next one of the Fortnite Weekly Challenges has you take to the skies and travel some distance. This is easiest to get done using the new wings.

Damage Opponents While at Full Shields (250)

The next of the Fortnite weekly quests is a bit of a pain. You need to deal damage up to 250 while at full health. Once you take damage, it stops counting. This is one that it’s going to be best to do gradually. Unless you can just wipe out a lobby without taking a tink of damage, but that’s not the most realistic.

Even if it’s only the first bullet of each fight that counts, you’ll gradually get there. A successful headshot snipe in Zero Builds would get you to 250 in a single shot too!

A rare longer one that’s best overall in Zero Builds. The overshield gives you more leeway, and staying at 200 HP is too annoying in Team Rumble for grinding this.

Collect Mythic Items (5)

Harbinger Smg Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

For this one of the Fortnite Weekly quests you need to collect mythics. This one is easier than it sounds.

Both the Zeus Thunderbolts and the wings are Mythic items. These aren’t one of a kind. In fact, you frequently run into multiple in each game. Get this one done quickly by picking up every Thunderbolt you see.

It’s simpler than taking out bosses, although the new C5 S2 medallions might mean that’s the more fun way to finish this off.

Eliminate Players With Common Weapons (3)

Typically, the lower levels of loot are only useful for the opening scraps of a game. You don’t want to be rolling into the final circle still rocking your grey pistol. This quest wants you to stick with grey weapons.

Like opening rare chests, the best idea here is to do it gradually. You’ll likely have a few fights off spawn with grey weapons over the season. Since these are the Fortnite Week 1 quests, we can just let this one play out naturally over the season. The alternative is to do it in Team Rumble, where it’s simple but a bit dull.

Spend Bars (100) – Fortnite Week 1 Quests

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

There are still Fortnite characters on the map selling things! Although, not as many as in previous Chapters. For this one of the Fortnite weekly quests, you’ll need to buy items from them.

It’s pretty simple to do, just drop at one and spend 100 bars. There’s currently an NPC selling a 5-shot version of the new Gatekeeper shotgun. That’s probably the best use of your gold right now given the shotgun’s power.

Fortnite Week 0 Quests

Fortnite Week 0 - Fortnite Weekly Quests

The first week of Fortnite Chapter 5 is Week 0! These are proper Fortnite Weekly Challenges in the sense of having a numbered week. However, they’re still a great way to get a head start on the season’s XP.

These are all of the challenges to try out the new content for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 in the Weekly Quests:

  • Emote in different matches (5)
  • Visit the Underworld and Mount Olympus (2)
  • Mantle in different named locations (5)

Grim gate Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

  • Headshot opponents with Huntress DMR (3)
  • Hit players within 5 seconds of falling (10)
  • Eliminate players with Gatekeeper Shotgun (3)
  • Use a Zipline or Ascender (1)
  • Search Chests or Ammo Boxes (15)

This batch doesn’t really need to get a full explanation. It’s basically asking you to play as normal and utilize the new weapons.

The only one that might not be immediately obvious (or just auto-complete from normal gameplay) is to deal damage after falling. For this one, it’s easiest to use the new Wings. Deal damage right after landing.

These should be fairly easy to get complete though. You don’t have to do anything too tough, like track down the new Medallions or win a game for the Fortnite Week 0 quests.

We’ll get our first proper batch of Fortnite weekly quests soon though. These should push players to get a bit more innovative to earn XP!

When Do the Fortnite Weekly Quests Update?

Battle Pass Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

Those are the first weeks, but when do we get a fresh batch? It gets a bit confusing since Epic got so far off schedule last season. We should be back to a simple timescale for Fortnite weekly challenges this time though.

New weekly challenges come on Tuesdays. In the past, Epic has been late with them and ended up updating after different increments. For this season though, we’ll likely see them updated on Tuesdays at least for the first few weeks.

How to Win Fortnite Chapter 5

The Fortnite Chapter 5 Battle Pass takes a bit more grinding this year. It’s got V-Bucks moved into the Bonus Rewards, and dailies don’t give nearly the same XP. Getting the Fortnite Weekly quests done is key for getting through that pass. Utilize the Rocket Racing dailies too, and you should be able to unlock most of the bonus rewards before we run out of time.
