EA looks to have something new coming soon in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team as the ‘Silver Stars Series’ looks set to commence.

The exact nature of the promo is still unclear, but expect to see loads of SBCs, Objectives, and lightning round packs arrive over the next week.

Latest – Joelinton Player Pick?

Newcastle and Brazil international Joelinton has already been confirmed for the Silver Stars Series promo.

However, the Brazilian’s role has changed since Eddie Howe took over a few months ago.

Joelinton now plays in a box-to-box central midfield role, whereas he used to play in the striker position.

So, we could see EA release a Silver Stars Player Pick SBC with an ST and a CM version included.

*NEW* pack type coming soon

FUTZone on Twitter has revealed that a brand new pack type has been added to the FIFA 22 code ahead of the Silver Stars Series promo.

It looks like 3x 71-74 Rated Rare Players Packs will be arriving soon, either in the store or as an SBC.

If this does arrive as an SBC then we expect it to be repeatable, meaning you can open loads of them in the hope to land a special Silver card from the promo.

Release Date

There is still a lot of unknowns surrounding this promo, but the ever-reliable Fut Sheriff has revealed a couple of interesting details.

First up is the name, and it looks to be called ‘Silver Stars Series’, which falls in line with the sort of promo we are expecting.

We wait to see if we will be getting two or three players released each day, but if that does happen it could be quite the exciting promo!

There is still some confusion around when the event will start, as seen in Sheriff’s Tweet below.

Friday, 4 March looks to be the date to mark in your calendars, however, there could be an early release of players coming on Friday, 25 February.

EA has been doing well in recent weeks at keeping the leaks to a minimum, so we can’t wait to see what may happen over the next few days.

Silver Stars Series

Silver Stars have been a staple in FIFA Ultimate Team for a while now as players battle it out in the Live FUT Friendly: Silver Lounge.

In what is a much more relaxed game mode, players can use alternative options for their squads and really enjoy the game.

We have seen multiple releases of Silver Stars before, such as the Samba Stars EA released in FUT 21.

However, this leak looks more substantial with loads of big names confirmed already, so we could be all set for a full Silver Stars promo for the first time ever!

Leaks

Loads of players have been leaked already, and arguably the biggest name sees Kevin De Bruyne set to arrive in the game.

Few would have thought we could be entering the Silver Lounge with De Bruyne and Paul Pogba as a midfield pairing, but it looks on the cards!

It looks like there will be some MEGA cards released too, with leaks suggesting that German CB Maxim Leitsch will receive 90+ Pace.

This makes him the ideal centre-back partner for Nico Schlotterbeck’s Headliners item, a worrying prospect!

It does not look like we will have all these players released at once like a usual squad release.

Instead, each day will have a ‘theme’ according to Fut Sheriff, and we love the concept.

Expect to see Joelinton, Reinier, and Talles Magno in the first release as we get a throwback to last season’s Samba Stars.

KDB is also said to be arriving in the first release, so we are intrigued to see what role he has to play.

The Silver Stars Series looks like it will have its own new card design too, giving a fresh look to your silver squads.

Unsurprisingly it is silver! We like the clean look it has and can’t wait to see the new cards released into the game.
