Set sail with Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones, Ubisoft’s pirate adventure long in the making is finally here. And you can get playing it right now on Xbox, PlayStation or PC. What are you waiting for? There are new lands to discover.

Available right this minute for Xbox, PlayStation and PC players to get involved in is Skull and Bones. You probably know all about this one, having been teased by Ubisoft for years gone by, with trailers, betas, and delays a commonplace. But finally Skull and Bones is here – and we cannot wait to board the good ship and sail off on all-new adventures.

A perilous new world in Skull and Bones on Xbox

A perilous world awaits in Skull and Bones. But thankfully you won’t have to content with the high seas on your own. See, this has been built as a cooperative adventure, delivering an open world full of pirate treasures. And it is pushed along by action-RPG mechanics. Frankly, it’s the sailing of the seas we can’t wait to involve ourselves in, hoping that Skull and Bones builds on the brilliance of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag from all those years ago.

Naval battles, monetary rewards, deadly sea monsters, various ship types and the chance to build an infamy like never before awaits in Skull and Bones. In fact, the key features are about as deep as the ocean itself…

  • Engage in thrilling naval battles and equip a multitude of powerful weapons as you risk it all for the biggest loot.
  • Sail the lawless seas solo, or team up with two friends or other players to partake in shareable contracts and rewards.
  • Face cutthroat pirate hunters, deadly sea monsters, unpredictable weather, dangerous rogue waves, supernatural threats, and more as you explore a vast open world.
  • Craft and sail up to 10 different ships at launch, each with unique perks to match your own personal playstyle.
  • Grow your infamy and unlock resources and opportunities to get riskier contracts and upgrade your equipment.

Of course, if that’s not to your bag, then there are a host of other piratey games to play too. In fact, we’ve detailed those we think you should be playing before, alongside or after Skull and Bones
