All Fallout 76 5th Anniversary Celebration Events (So Far)

Date:

Fallout Day was this week, and in honor of both that and Fallout 76’s 5th anniversary in less than three weeks, Bethesda is hosting a bunch of events for Fallout 76. Here’s what you need to know.

Fallout 76 is Free-to-Play Until October 30

If you haven’t played Fallout 76 yet and want to give it a chance, you can try it for free until October 30.

Fallout 76 is also on sale in the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Steam until October 31-November 2, in case you want to settle down in Appalachia permanently.

Wasteland Classrooms are in Session

Are you new to Fallout 76 and want to learn how some of the finer mechanics of the game work? Bethesda is hosting numerous Wasteland Classroom streams in October and November that’ll teach players about advanced C.A.M.P. building techniques and character builds.

You can check out the first live stream from Ken of CHAD: A Fallout 76 podcast, King Gothalion and LadyDevann, where the crew rebuilt the Overlook Maze from The Shining in Fallout 76. On November 1, Tooniversal and NerdyNetty will have a stream on character builds.

On November 2, there will be an official Developer Q&A on the Fallout 76 Discord server.

Don't forget to claim the free Fallout 76 Birthday Bundle from Amazon Prime Gaming or Xbox Game Pass.

Amazon Prime and Game Pass owners can claim a free Fallout 76 5th Anniversary Birthday Bundle. The items included in the bundle are:

  • Vault Boy Fireworks Stand
  • American Bowling Alley Lane
  • 5th Anniversary Vault Boy Photomode Frame
  • Vault-Tec Quilt
  • VTU Graduation Cap
  • Vault Boy Commemorative Lamp

The 5th Anniversary Birthday Bundle offer expires on January 17 for Prime Gaming users and December 17 for Xbox Game Pass holders.

Free Bethesda Email Fallout 76 Rewards

Many people understandably don’t opt into receiving a company’s emails to avoid a clutter email inbox. But if you play Fallout 76, Bethesda is giving you a solid reason to sign up.

Fallout 76 players with a Bethesda.net account who opt in to receiving Bethesda emails can claim a free Bowling Arcade Machine for your C.A.M.P. Also available for free are rewards for RAGE 2, Doom Eternal, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

Players have until August 10, 2024 to claim these rewards, and after claiming them, you can once again opt out of email communication from Bethesda if you wish.

The Spooky Scorched are Here!

Spooky Scorched are terrifying the good folks of Appalachia. Until November 7, players can hunt them down for Mysterious Candy Spooky Treat Bags, or, of course, Legendary items. Twitter/X user @PaladinLuka made a great map to help players track down the locations of Spooky Scorched, and the community is pitching in with their own insight as well.

Be sure to complete your daily and weekly Trick or Treat Challenges so you can receive the Mothman Nest C.A.M.P. item.

Fallout 76 Birthday Challenge Event

Immediately after the Spooky Scorched Event ends on November 7, the Fallout 76 Birthday Challenge Even will begin, a week before Fallout 76’s 5th birthday.

Players can pick up a Birthday Suit from the Atomic Shop (Not that kind of birthday suit) and complete anniversary daily challenges while wearing the Birthday Suit. Doing so will fuel progress towards the weekly challenge and earn you various rewards.

Fallout 76 Birthday Parade Stream

On November 14, Bethesda will be hosting a Fallout 76 5th Anniversary birthday stream. Feel free to stomp by for the fun and for a chance to win Atoms!

There’s no better time or season to get into Fallout 76. Don’t forget about Atlantic City releasing on December 5! See you in Appalachia!
