Today, we’re continuing our coverage of Legendary Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet with a Zekrom location guide for Zekrom with its exact location on Paldea’s map. We also have instructions on spawning it via the Indigo Disk DLC.

Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem form the Tao trio, which first appeared in Pokemon Black and White back on DS. None of these Pokemon are version exclusive this time around, which means you can catch all three regardless of the game you’re playing! Let’s go right into how to find Zekrom in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Zekrom location guide

If you’re looking to get every single Legendary Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet (not just Zekrom), then you unfortunately have a few hours of BP grinding ahead of you. You’ll need to clear Blueberry Academy solo quests in increments of 10 or complete individual group quests, and every time you do, an NPC named Snacksworth at the academy entrance will give you a snack that corresponds to a random Legendary Pokemon. From there, you’ll receive a hint on their location in Paldea. Your Zekrom location is shown on the map above.

In this case, the location for Zekrom in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is at the southeast corner of the Paldea map up on a raised orange cliff. It appears at Level 70 and knows three offensive Electric-type moves plus Hyper Voice. Bring a Ground-type Pokemon to counter Zekrom’s Electric-type moves and you should be good to go! If you’re looking to catch Zekrom in a matching Poke Ball, a Luxury Ball is probably the best you can do. Heavy Ball works okay as well.
