Eruption 3 Live Unboxing
In case you missed it, this week was an exhilarating experience for participants of Eruption 3! Through our exclusive Meet.VeeFriends platform, over 50 passionate VeeFriends Cards enthusiasts had the incredible opportunity to virtually connect with GaryVee himself. The lively discussion covered various exciting topics, including the development of Compete & Collect, a sneak peek at upcoming VeeFriends activations at the National Sports Collector’s Convention, and the continuous evolution of the VeeFriends IP. The event was filled with anticipation as attendees eagerly unboxed their Compete & Collect cards, with a special shoutout to Sensei Chris, who struck gold by pulling a rare 1/1 Spectacular Bubblegum Bad Intentions card! The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, resembling a gathering of friends sharing their love for collecting, innovation, and being part of a thriving community.
Eruption 7: Phase 2 Snoop Dogg x VeeFriends Came to a Close
Burn Island Eruption 7 a.k.a Phase 2 of the Snoop Dogg x VeeFriends collaboration came to a close this week. This epic trivia contest saw 317 “Please Take a Step Back” NFTs be burned permanently for a chance to win some awesome prizes. VeeFriends is working with our third party judge to contact winners and confirm their prizes. The top 11 highest scores will be receiving rewards including rare NFTs from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection and $APE!

This week we are launching a new weekly community initiative that celebrates the diverse and extraordinary individuals within our community. This special spotlight is designed to forge new connections and showcase the unique talents, interests, and stories of our members. Each week, we will delve into their professional backgrounds, uncover their passions and hobbies, share fascinating facts, and explore the special experiences that have shaped their journey.
Behind the PFP- Community Member Tom!
In this edition of Behind the PFP, we shine a light on Tom, also known as TGer_01. Tom’s journey is an inspiring one, as he transitioned from a career with the New York Jets selling Season tickets to sales and management to then becoming a business owner. Five years ago, he took a leap of faith and started his own franchise specializing in cleaning up crime scenes and trauma/biohazard scenes.
Recently, Tom discovered a hidden passion for streaming on Twitch, where he shares unboxing videos of VeeFriends cards with fellow enthusiasts. What started as a small venture has now grown into something remarkable, with Tom becoming a Twitch affiliate, garnering nearly 400 followers and 100 subscribers. This newfound passion has ignited ambitious aspirations, including interviews, podcasting, and speaking engagements.
Outside of work and streaming, Tom finds solace in nature, often spending his free time hiking and fishing. Being part of the VeeFriends community means a great deal to Tom, as it aligns with his belief that success can be achieved without compromising kindness and compassion. The support and kindness he has received from the community have been transformative, helping him grow into a better version of himself. Tom’s favorite VeeFriends character is Compassionate Catfish, resonating with his profession of providing compassion and assistance to those facing challenging circumstances. Grateful for the opportunities and connections VeeFriends has brought into his life, Tom is eager to contribute, share ideas, and continue spreading the positive impact of this wonderful project.
