This is how OpenAI has responded to Elon Musk’s Lawsuit

OpenAI, the most valuable AI company in the world, has finally responded to Elon Musk’s recent lawsuit. The response has come in the form of a blogpost where the Sam Altman led company has claimed that Tesla’s CEO played very minimal role in OpenAI’s inception and its subsequent success. It claimed that Musk contributed only $45 million to the company in the initial days as opposed to the $1 Bn he has committed. The blogpost further claimed that Musk had the hidden agenda of taking complete control of OpenAI and merging it with Tesla. It would be interesting to see Musk, who is known for his outspoken nature, would respond to OpenAI’s sensational claims.

The end of Android apps on Windows   

Android Apps will have to say goodbye to Windows. That’s because Microsoft announced that they are ending support for the Windows Subsystem for Android, which allowed users to run Android apps on Windows 11. This means that the Amazon Appstore and all Android apps and games that relied on WSA will no longer be supported on Windows after March 5, 2025. While existing users can continue using their downloaded Android apps until March 2025, this latest move clearly suggests that Microsoft is pulling the plug on Android apps in Windows.

Get ready for Microsoft’s first AI PC – it is coming by March End

Microsoft is reportedly planning to launch its first “AI PCs” later this month in March 2024. This PC is expected to be equipped with new processors that include special AI hardware and they will be the first to support a number of new AI features in Windows 11. It will most likely come with the latest Intel Core or Qualcomm Snapdragon processors that have built-in Neural Processing Units or NPUs that are specifically designed for AI tasks. Among AI features, it is expected to support features like a more powerful version of Copilot that runs locally on the device, AI-powered upscaling for games, and an advanced Windows Studio for improved video conferencing.

Elon Musk gives trademark response to Meta’s Meltdown  

In his true trademark style, Elon Musk responded to Meta’s global outage on Tuesday that left millions struggling to log into Facebook and Instagram accounts. As outage issue became viral on ‘X,’ Musk posted a cryptic tweet that said that “if you are reading this post, it’s because our servers are working.” With this cryptic post, Musk probably wanted to say to the world that while X’s servers are efficient, Meta’s servers are not. In the past on several occassions, Tesla & Space X CEO had never failed to take a potshot on his competitors, especially when they find themselves on a sticky wicket.

Nothing launches its first budget phone – Nothing Phone (2a)

Nothing officially launched its first budget phone, the Nothing Phone (2a). This new phone aims to offer a more affordable option compared to the flagship Nothing Phone (2) released in July 2023. The phone is powered by custom-built MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor and features a 6.7-inch 1080×2412 OLED display. The rear camera system boasts a 50MP main sensor and an additional ultra-wide sensor. The phone comes in two configurations, offering 8GB or 12GB of RAM.
