If you’re trying to figure out where to find Kyurem in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as part of the Indigo Disk DLC, we’ve put together a Kyurem location guide here for you.

Kyurem, along with Reshiram and Zekrom, is a member of the Tao trio introduced in Generation V. Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem were once one being. Whereas Reshiram represents truth and Zekrom represents ideals, Kyurem represents neither — it’s sort of the “leftovers” of the original dragon. If you’re looking to catch Kyurem in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you’ve come to the right place.

Kyurem location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

As with all returning Legendary Pokemon in The Indigo Disk, you can only access Kyurem via Snacksworth, an old man who appears at Blueberry Academy’s entrance after you clear the main story. When you clear 10 Solo Quests or 1 Group Quest, he’ll give you a snack that spawns a random Legendary Pokemon at a specific spot in Paldea. Kyurem is exclusive to Group Quests, so you cannot even spawn it unless you clear some via Union Circles with other real-life players.

Once you’ve obtained the Kyurem snack, the corresponding Kyurem location is at Dalipaza Passage as shown on the map above. Luckily, there’s a nearby fly point that gets you pretty close to where Kyurem spawns. It appears at Level 70, and the only move that poses any kind of threat is Blizzard — which, aside from its high base power, has a small chance of freezing your Pokemon. Keep in mind that Kyurem, plus the rest of the returning Legendary Pokemon, are Shiny locked.
