Ringo had a decorated college career that saw him make plenty of highlight plays. He is now a 2023 NFL Draft prospect.

As a five-star prospect out of Arizona, Ringo decided to go to college across the country at Georgia. He redshirted his first season on campus and recovered from surgery in the process. As a redshirt freshman, he had two interceptions and eight passes defended. His play helped Georgia get to the National Championship Game and he sealed the game for the Bulldogs with a pick-six. In 2022, Ringo had two interceptions and seven passes defended. He aided Georgia in winning their second-straight National Championship.

Following back to back championships, Ringo declared for the 2023 NFL Draft. He is currently projected to be a first or second round pick.

Kelee Ringo Strengths

Ringo is one of the bigger corners in the draft class at 6-foot-2 and 207 pounds. He also has ok length. With his size comes excellent strength for the position. This helps him press at the line of scrimmage and reroute receivers. The physicality comes into play when fighting for the ball as well. His size allows him to cover bigger wide receivers.

Especially for his size, Ringo has great athleticism. He has good speed, which was shown at the NFL Combine, but that also shows up on tape. His speed includes the ability to recover if he is behind early. Ringo has good jumping ability as well, helping him contest catches.

He has the ability to make an impact as a run defender. Ringo can shed blocks well, using his good strength in the process. He keeps the runner on the inside to get help from his teammates. Ringo is also a solid tackler, which enables him to end the play even when he is in open space in one on one situations.

Kelee Ringo Weaknesses

Ringo is solid in zone coverage, but may struggle in man-to-man coverage at the NFL level. He sometimes struggles to transition and change direction, which makes it tough to mirror receivers. While he has the recovery speed to catch up, he still can be beaten by detailed route runners.

In coverage, Ringo can be too grabby and can cost his team. He was called for several penalties over his career at Georgia, especially during the 2022 season. Ringo needs to trust his technique and athletic ability to be more disciplined.

He has good ball skills generally, but he could be even better if he works on tracking the ball. Ringo needs to get his head around and find the football quicker. Once he finds it he can track it in the air better to enable him to make more plays on the ball.
