Here is everything you need to know about the Honkai Star Rail 1.2 Content that will drop with the new Patch!

Patch 1.2 is one of the biggest updates Honkai Star Rail has seen since its launch earlier this year. Not only is it the first major expansion to the game’s main story, but it also introduces a bunch of new characters and more variety to the daily grind.

Honkai Star Rail 1.2 Content

Here is a short summary of all the content you can expect from the recent patch.

New Trailblaze Mission Chapter

After a long wait and some more grinding and leveling up, the Nameless are ready to continue their journey through the Xianzhou to hunt down the Stellaron that has been wreaking havoc. The last chapter left us on a bit of a cliffhanger but it seems like this chapter will wrap up this stretch of our journey.

The Trailblazer and their friends will learn the hard way that everything, even gods and infinity has an end. But the real question is what Kafka and Blade are up to and how we’re gonna reunite with Dan Heng who has been MIA since we arrived on the Xianzhou. But all of that will be answered in the new chapter “Topclouded Towerthrust”.

New Environments

Two new environments will be added to the Xianzhou and be made available for exploration. First is the Alchemy Commission which is described as follows:

The Alchemy Commission once demonstrated the way of immortality. However, as the Ambrosial Arbor was discarded, the commission’s social position plummeted and no longer sways the balance of power in Xianzhou.

We’ll also be able to explore the Scalegorge Waterscape, which is an expansive area located underneath the Xianzhou.

Lunarescent Depths is the Vidyadharas’ sacred site. To suppress the Ambrosial Arbor, the Vidyadhara sealed the Arbor’s roots in this delve millennia ago.

Both of these environments will be part of the new Trailblaze Mission so don’t worry about missing out on them. They’ll of course be filled with new treasures, environmental puzzles, and more.

New Formidable Foes

We also get a few more enemy types as well as two confirmed boss fights with the arrival of patch 1.2. The Ascended and the Abundance Sprice: Maliefic Ape seem like great additions to Honkai Star Rail’s ever-growing rogues gallery.

Other confirmed boss fights will be Cloud Knight Lieutenant: Yanqing who is already playable as a 5-Star character so who knows what he’s up to. And then there is a new Echo of War in the form of Phantylia the Undying, who we won’t spoil further.

Companion Missions

Two companion missions will be added to Honkai Star Rail which will require you to be at least all caught up with the Trailblaze Missions come 1.2. “For I Have Touched the Sky” will feature Helm Master of the Sky-Faring Commission and 4-Star character Yukong. The second one is called “Letter from a Strange Woman” and will feature the upcoming 5-Star character, Kafka.

Miscellaneous

The new patch will also introduce World 7 to the Simulated Universe rogue-lite mode. Here players can earn new Planar Ornaments “Rutilant Arena” and “Broken Keel”, Sellar Jade, and another Eidolon for Herta.

Completing the latest Trailblaze Mission will also unlock a new chapter for the Forgotten Hall called: Memories of Xianzhou “The Voyage of Navis Astriger”. Here you can complete challenges to earn Stellar Jade, the character Yukong and upgrade materials for your relicts.
