Team of the Week (TOTW) 18 is next up in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with more in-form cards hitting packs once again.

After the disappointing release last week, we could be getting a mammoth squad this time around!

TOTW 18 Release Date & Time

The Team of the Week 18 squad in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team will be released on Wednesday, 1 March, at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

As ever, the new cards will be available in packs for one week only from when they are released.

They will join the Showdown Series’ Rivalary Re-Release promo cards in packs for a few days only, before they rotate out on Friday, 3 March, with Fantasy FUT items leaked to replace them!

Predictions

We were left frustrated last week when no PSG player made the TOTW squad, but it looks like EA could make amends this time after Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi combined for all three goals against title contenders Marseille!

Whichever one of them makes the side, they will headline the squad with an unreal card!

Elsewhere, it looks like Cristiano Ronaldo has settled into life playing for Al Nassr, grabbing his second hattrick for the club with a 92 OVR item on the cards.

If he gets it, this would be CR7’s second in-form for the Saudi side in three weeks!

Best Players

With Team of the Week 18 cards coming to the player pool, we’re once again taking a look at the best players to pack from the upcoming release.

‘Best’ can be defined in a few different ways, but we will simplify it by classing it as the most valuable cards or those with top attributes.

If Mbappe or Messi feature in the side they will be by far the best to pack, especially from a financial point of view!

Mbappe’s card would be worth several million coins and you will also have one of the best attacking cards in the game in your club!

Phil Foden and Kingsley Coman could also grab high-rated cards, with either of them probably costing around the 100,000 coins mark on the Transfer Market upon release.

If you’re looking for a powerhouse midfielder, then Khephren Thuram could be right up your street!

He gained an excellent 87-rated Future Stars item via SBC a few weeks back and – after grabbing a goal and an assist against Monaco – may have earned a TOTW version with very similar stats this week!

TOTW 18 Leaks

It looks like at least one GOAT is joining Team of the Week this time, with Lionel Messi leaked for inclusion!

With a goal and two assists, the Argentine is set to make the squad just after picking up the FIFA Best Men’s Player 2023 award.

A bit of a pace upgrade will come in handy, with his unreal shooting, passing and dribbling abilities making him lethal in and around the box.

With Ones to Watch cards in the game, we have some live cards that can be affected by Team of the Week inclusions.

Unfortunately, we expect to go another week without a OTW player included, with the wait going all the way back to TOTW 13!
