Chucky from Child’s Play has been announced as the new Dead by Daylight Killer being added to the game this month on November 28

One of the most popular survival horror games is Behavior Interactive’s Dead by Daylight. It is a horror asymmetrical survival multiplayer game that is team-based and your sole motive is to escape. The whole setting of the game is very terrifying as it takes place in a supernatural world called “The Fog” where a creature called “The Entity” controls everything, including the horrifying Killers. The Survivors are put through “Trials” and later sacrificed to The Entity if they cannot escape. 

After the game was released in 2016, we had many DLCs added to the game known as Chapters and thus far, we have a total of 29 Chapters or DLCs in the game. A new DLC Chapter is coming soon to The Fog and after being left on the hook by a teaser, the new Killer has finally been revealed to be Chucky. Hence, here is everything we know about Chucky from Child’s Play coming to the game as the new Dead by Daylight Killer. 

Chucky from Child’s Play: The New Dead by Daylight Killer

Charles Lee “Chucky” Ray is the main antagonist from the popular 1988 slasher-flick horror franchise, Child’s Play. Ever since the 80s, Chucky the Doll has become one of the most popular horror icons and made his name as a vicious Killer. In a teaser posted to all social media platforms, Dead by Daylight developers gave fans a hint about the new Killer and told them to wait for more information to be released on November 8. Fans were speculating about what the Killer would be and most agreed that it would be our Best Friend, Chucky. Here is the teaser they posted to Dead by Daylight’s official Twitter/X account:

Today, IGN came out of the blue and made the official announcement that Chucky will be joining the game. Here is the tweet that was posted to IGN’s official Twitter/X account: 

Everyone’s favorite serial-killing doll, Chucky from the Child’s Play series, arrives as a new killer in Dead by Daylight on November 28.

There were a total of 33 Killers in the game before Chucky was added, so this makes him the 34th Killer to be added to the game. He is going to be voiced by the original voice actor from the movie, Brad Dourif. 

His character is going to be similar to that of Victor from The Twins, another Killer in the game. The only exception will be that he is the sole Killer. His point of view will also be different compared to that of the normal Killers as he is well, a short vicious doll.

His weapon of choice will of course be the iconic kitchen knife that he steals from the kitchen using a stool. Your new best friend will have a special ability called the “Slice and Dice” ability that allows him to lunge at the Survivors to catch up to them faster and close the gap because he has short legs. 

His human form before he transfers his soul into a doll, Charles Lee Ray will be able to assist him in spirit form. He also has an ability called the “Scamper” ability which will allow him to leap through windows and crawl under pallets. 

We will also be getting a customizable outfit for Chucky, which will be his lover, Miss Tiffany “Bride of Chucky” Valentine. This outfit will be known as “The Good Gal” outfit and the character will be voiced by the original voice actor, Jennifer Tilly. She will be joining her lover and surely go on a terrifying killing spree. 

Needless to say, Chucky from Child’s Play is going to be a formidable enemy in the game for sure. Make sure to keep those ankles safe because we are sure that Chucky will try to bite them. The DLC chapter, whose name has not yet been revealed will be released and be available for purchase on November 28.
