Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL) is a Better Business Bureau (BBB) Southeast Florida and Caribbean 2021 Torch Award for Ethics Finalist in the large business category. The BBB Torch Award honors organizations whose leaders demonstrate a high level of personal character. The award honors companies that ensure the organization’s practices meet the highest standards of ethics and consequently generate trust with its customers and the community. Winners and finalists were announced at a virtual award ceremony on July 21.

Winners for each category were hand-selected by an independent panel of judges comprised of local business leaders, media partners and college professors. The finalists in the large size business category included Venture Construction Group of Florida, City Furniture, and Avoya Travel. The medium business category finalists included Erica’s Plumbing and Restoration, Plumbing Troopers, and Native Pest Management. The small business category finalists included Cooling Advisors Inc, Owen Insurance Group and Rossen Law Firm. The 2021 Torch Awards winners included City Furniture, Native Pest Management and Rossen Law Firm.

The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics honors companies that demonstrate best practices, leadership, social responsibility and high standards of organizational ethics that benefit their customers, employees, suppliers, shareholders and communities. Finalists were selected based on six principles of trust: transformation at the top, reinforce and build, unite the team, steer performance, treasure people, enthusiastically give back.
