The AI chat bot that went viral in January isn’t just a blip on the trendy tech radar. It will be the defining new technology of the year, and perhaps even the decade.
ChatGPT-4 (it’s latest upgrade) makes that much clear.
Unlike its predecessor (ChatGPT-3.5), ChatGPT4 is multi-modal. That means it can process photo, video, and audio inputs just like it would text.
The upgrade also includes advancements in ChatGPT’s human language models to provide more realistic and personalized conversations with the AI.
It even understands memes. One user tested out the new multimodal input by providing ChatGPT with a photo of chicken nuggets arranged in a world map.

But seriously, ChatGPT-4 is going to seriously speed up how fast we start seeing this technology in our day to day lives. ChatGPT’s launch in January was the single biggest onboarding event of any new technology in human history, and with ChatGPT-5 already coming down the pipeline, this thing will be doing our jobs in no time.
It’s already gotten a perfect score on the bar exam and SAT’s. Are you smarter than a 5th grader? Because ChatGPT is.
