After Orange Esports confirmed that they would forfeit their spot in the upcoming MPL MY, Moonton have revealed the newest challenger to take their place.

On February 16, 2023, Orange Esports confirmed that they would be withdrawing themselves from the Mobile Legends Professional League in Malaysia for Season 11, and continued to add that Moonton would be involved in finding a suitable replacement for the team. Having been a long standing organisation within MPL MY, Orange would not be easy to replace, but it seems as though a team was already waiting in the wings, ready to swoop in and claim their spot.

A post made by Team Secret yesterday alerted everyone to the chance that they could be stepping into the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene, as the well-known organisation revealed a teaser video with the Malaysian flag in the background. In January of this year, Secret CEO Joh Yao made an interesting post about buying a MLBB team, and it seems as though he has followed up on that at the perfect time – albeit this is not in the PH region where we would expect them to be. With that said, Secret have now been confirmed as the replacement for Orange Esports in MPL MY Season 11, and their roster looks to create some chaos.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there are only whispers of who will be on the Secret roster, but we are expecting to see a few imports from the likes of Indonesia and Philippines too. For now we will have to sit back and wait for the organisation to give us any further information before MPL MY Season 11 kicks off on March 10, 2023.
