A first person shooter that places you in the role of Kyle Katarn, a mercenary for hire, STAR WARS: Dark Forces Remaster will see you joining the Rebel Alliance’s most covert division. From there, a Dark Trooper Project is uncovered and you find yourself tasked with putting an end to the Empire’s control.
Back in 1995 when STAR WARS: Dark Forces was first released, this game managed to turn the FPS genre on its head, offering up ideas never before seen. And now, in 2024 it has been updated to ensure a fit with the modern gaming world.
It’s all been done by the power of Nightdive Studios, as they work their magic. In the first Star Wars FPS video game, players assume the role of Kyle Katarn, a defector of the Galactic Empire turned mercenary for hire. Katarn joins the Rebel Alliance’s covert operations division tasked with infiltrating the Galactic Empire, where he discovers the secret Dark Trooper Project.
