No, you don’t have to be a gorgeous animal-whisperer, there are many, many traits this PC-based interactive horror mystery, from Black Tabby Games, will let you assign to your character. But given we missed out on talking to an opossum last time through and that “hot” apparently has some very silly dialogue options, we’re giving serious consideration to starting from scratch.

Well, we won’t spoil it too much for you but, after arriving in the mining town of Scarlet Hollow, following the death of your aunt, you discover that things are a little off. We’re tempted to make a comparison with Twin Peaks but, if anything, it gives us a faint Hammer Horror vibe, with a little Mothman Prophecies thrown in.

The last episode ended on a dramatic note, so you can expect to deal with the fallout of whatever decision you made. But, story aside, we’re also curious to see the new and improved Tabitha. Who? She’s your cousin and, while she’s apparently retained her uncomfortable smile, she’s gone through a redesign between episodes.
