Rocker Rod Stewart, who says he is fed up with LA, has relisted his over-the-top mansion with an ambitious new price tag.
Six months after initially listing his bright yellow estate for $105m (US$70m), the 78-year old has relisted the compound with a whopping $14.9m (US$10m) mark up — bringing the new asking price to a cool $119.4m (US$80m).
The British music star purchased the property back in 1991 for $12.08m, before having the current 12-bathroom, nine-bedroom, English-countryside-meets-Versailles-style abode custom constructed by Richard Landry according to the Post.

Stewart appears to be really trying to get this home off his back, albeit with an odd strategy of increasing the price rather than reducing it.
Shortly after it’s first listing, sources told the Daily Mail he aimed to return home to London after growing sick of LA’s “toxic culture.”
Not just that, he reportedly has “no privacy” in the City of Angels, and travelling between both cities became too much of a headache.
Highlights of the home include a double gated entry, a marble-floored bar, a 418 sqm guesthouse, two gyms, a tea room, a dining room.
Historic old-style touches are present throughout, such as ceiling mouldings, medallions, herringbone floors and Corinthian columns.

Outdoor highlights include a long driveway up to the house, sculptures, a pool and hot tub, a soccer field and three lush, landscaped acres in the star-studded Beverly Park estate, a profoundly well-to-do area within Beverly Hills.
Other neighbourhood residents include Justin Bieber, Barry Bonds, and Adele and Denzel Washington.
“The whole family lived there for 30 years,” Tomer Fridman of Compass’s the Fridman Group, which is representing Stewart in the sale, told the Times of how the “Maggie May” singer raised his eight children at the LA property.
“The children grew up there, and he’s got grandchildren already … He built a whole life there, and it’s just time.”These days he prefers to spend his days overseas — “he lives in Europe a lot of the time,” Fridman said.
