Ninja Storm Connections will have brand new mechanics, switching up the meta and overall playstyle in game. The game will create a new wave of friendly competition. According to Bandai Nami, the Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections release date is November 17, 2023. This appears to be the release date for PlayStation consoles alongside Xbox and Nintendo Switch — but not Steam.

Should you buy Ninja Storm Connections on release?
The target audience for Ninja Storm Connections is undoubtably the community of anime arena players who are addicted to the genre of games. Players have been begging for another Storm entry — and this is exactly that.
Considering 90% of the Boruto anime is filler anyhow, die hard fans of the Boruto anime (all five of them) may find the extra non-canon story exhilarating.

Judging purely off teasers and reused visual assets, the game definitely doesn’t seem very innovative. Cyberconnect 2 always had a bigger priority for flashy visuals than gameplay balance, likely rendering Ninja Storm Connections unviable for competitive gaming.
The Ultinate Ninja Storm series goes on sale rather regularly. Therefore, unless players really want to join the hype train for whatever reason, they may be better off waiting a couple of months until the inevitable sale.
Of course, this is opinion based speculation — perhaps the game will surpass expectations and blow everyone out of the water!
