Lenovo Legion Go PC Handheld Drops To Best Price Yet At Amazon

Date:

The Lenovo Legion Go is one of the best Steam Deck alternatives, offering easy access to storefronts like Steam, PC Game Pass, and the Epic Games Store. Not to mention some popular online multiplayer games that aren’t supported on Steam Deck. The Legion Go also boasts fairly robust specs and an ergonomic design that makes the large handheld comfortable to hold. It starts at $700, but right now you can grab the Lenovo Legion Go for only $580 at Amazon. This is the lowest price yet for the Legion Go, so it’s definitely worth a closer look if you’re in the market for a Windows gaming handheld.

It’s worth mentioning that Best Buy has a nice deal on the Asus ROG Ally, which is essentially an affordable, smaller alternative to the Lenovo Legion Go. Featuring a seven-inch screen, 1080p resolution, and Ryzen Z1 processor, it’s a great option if you’re working with a smaller budget, as right now the handheld is on sale for just $400 (down from $500). The more powerful ROG Ally Extreme model is available for $550 (was $650).

Before you pick up a ROG Ally, however, you’ll want to check out the ROG Ally X, the first major iteration on the manufacturer’s PC gaming handheld. This ROG Ally X releases in July and is available to preorder now at Best Buy. It’s significantly more expensive than the other Windows handhelds mentioned here, as it will be priced at $800 at launch.

As for the increasingly popular Steam Deck, the 512GB and 1TB OLED models are $549 and $649, respectively–putting it in a comparable price tier to the Legion Go. Remember that you’ll need to do some tinkering to gain access to third-party platforms like the Epic Games Store, and though you can use cloud streaming for Game Pass on Steam Deck, a Windows handheld is the better option if you’re looking for native Game Pass support and online multiplayer for some popular games such as Destiny 2.
