How to Save Your Game in Edge of Eternity

Date:

Edge of Eternity

As a sprawling RPG, you’ll want to make sure you save your game in Edge of Eternity regularly. But how do you do it?

Like any huge RPG, Edge of Eternity tells a story stretching over tens of hours. And, of course, it’s important that you save your game regularly. After all, you don’t want to lose any vital progress; having to retrace your steps if you forget to save can be a pain in the backside. Thankfully, saving in Edge of Eternity is easy, if not a little old-fashioned.

Like classic RPGs such as Final Fantasy VIIEdge of Eternity relies on physical save points. That means you can’t simply jump into your in-game menu and save whenever you feel like it. You can only save when you reach a save point out in the field. They’re easy to spot, and look like big warp points. In fact, they double as warp points, too.

The first save point you find is just after you reach the town of Inel. It’s after the long introductory sequence that sees you fighting against giant enemy mechs. Unfortunately, you can’t save at all during that section, so you’ll need to press on. Once you’re in Inel, though, you should find save points fairly regularly.

And so to save in Edge of Eternity, simply walk onto a save point, then click to interact with it. It’ll bring up the save menu, where you can choose a slot to save your game into. Easy.

Remember to save every time you see a save point. It’s just good practice.
