Here’s When Three Strikes is Returning to Apex Legends

Date:

Fan-favorite LTM Three Strikes is returning to Apex Legends sooner than you might think.

Respawn Entertainment is wrapping up another successful Apex Legends season to kick off 2024. Apex Legends: Ignite delivered the Uprising Collection Event, featuring a Loba Prestige skin, and a monumental crossover with Square Enix to bring Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth-inspired skins and weapons to the Battle Royale. The season also included a collaboration with Post Malone that brought the beloved Three Strikes LTM to the game.

Unlike Winter Express this Christmas season, it looks like the developers are actually bringing Three Strikes back to Apex Legends.

Three Strikes is a LTM in Apex Legends that encourages a chaotic, fast-paced play style not typically associated with the Battle Royale. Fans get three respawns in Three Strikes, similar to a limited-version of a Resurgence match in Call of Duty: Warzone. With respawns enabled, players can take more risks and get second (and even third) chances to secure a victory.

The mode was so popular that Respawn Entertainment extended its first run beyond the original end date. Fortunately, it looks like the LTM is coming back again to bring some excitement to Apex Legends in the upcoming weeks.

Three Strikes is returning to Apex Legends on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024. The fan-favorite mode will likely be the last addition to Apex Legends Season 19 before it ends just two weeks later.

The official Apex Legends X account posted, “One like on this post and we’ll bring Three Strikes back tomorrow.” One like is a pretty low bar, guaranteeing the mode’s rerelease.

Fans can expect the LTM to hit the game at 1 p.m. ET after the Apex Legends x Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth event concludes. Although Respawn Entertainment has not confirmed how long Three Strikes will remain in the game, it likely will be available to play until Season 20 goes live on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024.
