Elden Ring Global Release Timings

Are you ready to get your ass whooped by a video game? Yes, of course you are.

Elden Ring is just around the corner, and to prepare us all for its launch, the game’s official Twitter account has just shared a map detailing the game’s global release timings. With multiple time zones across the world, Elden Ring will be launching at a different time depending on what country you’re in.

Whether you’re jumping into Elden Ring on PC or on console will make a difference, too. For the PC version, it seems it will unlock for everyone at the same time, which is 12am CET on 25th February. That means if you’re in the PT timezone, you’ll get it a little earlier on in the day at 3pm on 24th February. In New Zealand, you’ll need to wait until a little later in your day – 12pm on the 25th.

The console version, however, unlocks at midnight local time for most places. The exception to this are those in Central and Pacific areas of the US, who’ll get it at 11pm and 9pm respectively. Of course, midnight hits earlier in Australia and New Zealand, so those will be the first territories to be able to access Elden Ring on console.

Starting with the Pacific time zone on America’s west coast, here’s when Elden Ring launches all around the world:

  • PT: February 24th, 3pm (PC), 9pm (console)
  • CT: February 24th, 5pm (PC), 11pm (console)

Elden Ring is the latest game from Dark Souls developer FromSoftware. It’s designed very much in the vein of the Souls games that came before it, but this time boasts an open world, bigger than ever before. It’s of course heavily combat-focused, with players needing to learn and refine their skills in order to best a series of tough-as-nails (but incredibly designed) enemies and bosses. Based on our early preview last year, it’s going to be quite the experience. We can’t wait to play more.
