For Players

First, we have the sign-ups. In order to sign up to CPL you will need to make an account on the CPL webapp. Once signups close, we enter the preseason stage. This is used in order to determine what everybody’s skill is compared to everyone else. During this stage you will be allocated in a group of 4 or 5 people and you will have to play all of them.

Once done with the preseason you will be allocated in teams and the regular season begins. During this part you will be assigned a tier within your team and a team captain will draft weekly roster for your team to go up against another team’s roster. You will not be required to play every week, and you can indicate how active you intend to be in your signup.

For Coaches
+ Show Spoiler +

This season CPL coaching will be a bit different to how it’s been done in the past:

Under the new system, there’s two types of coaches. First is Team Coaches (like regular coaches and assistant coaches in the last season), who can be active players if they want to. Second is CPL Coaches, who aren’t linked to a team and only give advice in a general capacity. These coaches don’t play since they’re not part of a team.

To summarize, you want to be a Team Coach if you want to spend time with a team and directly and help its players throughout a season. You want to be a CPL Coach if you prefer to just be around and be the wise old sage to whoever needs some advice. Previous assistant coaches will still be able to be a Team Coach who plays games for their team.

For both types of Coaches you will need to sign up on the CPL webapp
