Capcom has launched an online Resident Evil museum that takes users through the franchise’s history game by game. The Resident Evil Portal, which currently includes insights into Resident Evil 1, 2, 3, and Zero, also has never before seen artwork, including character models and concept art.
It will presumably be regularly updated to include some, if not all, of the 24 other Resident Evil games. It’s already promising a further update that will arrive on February 22.

Each virtual exhibit focuses on a specific game, broken down by its release date, story, characters, creatures, and artwork, as well as extra bits of deep-cut Resident Evil lore, including maps of Raccoon City and anime adaptations of Leon S. Kennedy. Once every game has been added, the website may help organize Resident Evil’s somewhat complicated story so far, or at least shed some light on what games Capcom wants fans to remember.
Following on from the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, concept art for a new version of Resident Evil 4 allegedly leaked in November, escalating rumors that Capcom was continuing its remake trend. It reared its head again last week when a report released saying the new game would focus more on horror.
Meanwhile, impatient fans have taken it upon themselves to recreate Resident Evil: Code Veronica and hope to release it this year.
The series’ non-remake route is still going strong, as Resident Evil Village was the most completed game of 2021, while IGN named it among the best games on PS5.
In our review, we said Resident Evil Village is a genuinely engrossing and increasingly combat-heavy continuation of the Ethan Winters story.
