Wild Rift patch 4.2a notes: Ornn and Volibear release, Vayne buffs, more

The brand new patch for Wild Rift dropped. Unlike the usual supplementary patch, Wild Rift patch 4.2a is actually quite large, providing tons of balance update changes to various champions. And included in this patch are the release of two brand new champions: Wild Rift Ornn and Volibear.

What’s changing in Wild Rift patch 4.2a?

Ornn and Volibear release

The release date for both new champions is on June 20, a solid ten days after the Wild Rift patch 4.2a releases. Therefore, there’s some amount of time til they drop. And as per usual, the developers will likely launch an event to celebrate the release of the Wild Rift new champions.

Vayne buffed

According to Riot, Vayne fell a bit behind after the changes to crit items. They’re buffing her attack speed drastically, which should help the demon hunter keep up with her contemporaries.

  • Base stats
    • Base armor: 30 → 34
  • Five point strike
    • Base damage: 30/65/100/135 → 35/70/105/140

Darius

  • Hemorrhage
    • Bleed damage per stack: 11.5 – 31 → 14.5 – 34
    • Damage to monsters: 200% → 150%

Ezreal

  • Base stats
    • Attack Damage per level: 3.6 → 4
    • Base attack speed: 20% → 30%
  • Mystic shot
    • Base damage: 30/65/100/135 → 35/70/105/140
  • Trueshot barrage
    • Cooldown: 70/70/70s → 70/65/60s

Galio
