In 2023, the Americas League was among the first regional events bringing together franchised rosters for Masters qualification. This time, we are going to witness two stages of this event, the first one for Masters Shanghai qualification and the second one for Champions 2024.

After Sentinels’ victory at Masters Madrid, the Americas is currently the best region in Valorant Esports. On top of it, with superteams like NRG and Leviatán, this split might bring new squads to the next international event.

VCT 2024 Americas Stage 1 – List of Teams

All ten teams from the 2023 season will reappear, with one newcomer from the Americas Ascension.

Group Alpha will feature five teams, and there will be six squads in Group Omega. Here are all the teams:

VCT 2024 Americas Stage 1 – Prize

The top three teams from the event will qualify for Masters Shanghai, with the winner securing 3 Americas Points to help with the Champions 2024 qualification.

• 2nd – Masters Shanghai Qualification
• 3rd – Masters Shanghai Qualification

VCT 2024 Americas Stage 1 – Format

Last year, we saw ten teams going against each other in a round-robin Regular Season. This time, five teams from Group Alpha and six from Group Omega will only meet the squads from the other group.

Group Stage / Regular Season

There will be two round-robin groups to start the Regular Season. Each team from Group Alpha will face each Group Omega team.

The winner of each group will secure the Upper Bracket Semifinals in the Playoffs, while the 2nd and 3rd teams will go into the Playoffs Knockout Round.

All matches of the Regular Season will be Best of 3 (Bo3).

Playoffs

The Playoffs will start off with a Knockout Round, where four teams (2nd and 3rd place holders from the Group Stage) will fight in a single-elimination bracket. Winners will move forward to the Upper Bracket Semifinals, entering the double-elimination bracket of the Playoffs.

The Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final matches will be Best of 5 (Bo5). The rest of the games will be Bo3.

VCT 2024 Americas Stage 1 – Schedule

Stage 1 of the Americas Split will feature five weeks of Regular Season/Group Stage matches. The games will be held from Saturday to Monday almost every week, with five matches every week. The third week of the season will be a superweek, where an extra five Bo3s will take place.
