The Transformers love-in continues as fans get the opportunity to roll out with their favourite Autobots once more in TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK – Expedition on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC. 

We’ve recently enjoyed the film viewings of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and have only just put down the game pad on the back of Transformers: Battlegrounds. Today a whole new adventuer begins to play out though, as Tessera Studios, Outright Games and Hasbro come together to release TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK – Expedition to the world. 

A new Transformers adventure

There’s no doubting the draw that the Transformers have. Having gone from toys and cartoons to the big screen and the video gaming worlds, there’s most definitely a love from many. And Outright Games hope that to be the case with TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK – Expedition. 

Available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK – Expedition will set you back some £34.99 in price. Expect to pay roughly that same amount if you prefer to play on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch or PC. 

Wherever you play, TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK – Expedition whisks us off to the animated TV series of TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK. It covers an original story that focuses on Bumblebee as he facing up to a mysterious threat from the past. 

Bumblebee is the star

Sold as an action-packed adventure, in TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK – Expedition you’ll need to help Bumblebee put a stop to the plans of Dr. Meridian, otherwise known as Mandroid. With three biomes to explore, quests to complete and the Terrans on hand to help out, you should expect all the usual Transformers goodies to be in place. 

Bumblebee will complete missions, unlock upgrades and discover hidden areas to explore as he encounters fan-favourite characters, including Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Skullcruncher, Nova Storm, and Skywarp. 

With this being an Outright Games title, TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK – Expedition comes with the usual family friendly, accessibility features. Variable difficulty options, text legibility and control setup options, alongside an assisted driving system can all be implemented for a completely customisable gameplay experience. Further enabling players to give their full focus to exploring biomes and battling enemies, directional warnings and an automatic camera have been incorporated, with prompts on screen to raise awareness of incoming threats in-game and to keep combat front and centre.
