Farmer’s World still shows as the top web3 game on our charts, even with a 45% decrease in active players from last week. Lots of volatility in the bottom half of this chart as Splinterlands nearly falls off entirely, while SecondLive jumps back, and IndiGG, an gaming DAO focused on onboarding players from India makes an appearances in our top 10.

We still have Dmail Network on this list for some reason. I don’t know, maybe some folks consider encrypted email a fun activity! SecondLive has recently added some cross-chain compatibility, and just finished up a special AR campaign encouraging users to capture moments with the avatar in AR.

Mobile gaming is definitely on the rise, whether that be a basic, casual, mobile game, or an augmented reality journey. Will a desktop game ever be able to compete? Tune in next week and we’ll see what changes!

Lots of NFT news recently!

Stoner Cats has been sued by the SEC, resulting in their NFTs being delisted on many major marketplaces. Nouns held some sort of DAO split that resulted in nearly half of the owners cashing out taking a significant chunk of the DAO treasury with them! This is why Nouns had a surge into the top 10 trading charts last week but this week are nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, one of the devs for Milady Maker stole $1 million dollars worth of collected fees from the collection, and made a brief seizure of Milady Maker’s social media accounts!

Sugartown volume remains strong for their still unrevealed Oras collection, moving them up to the ninth spot this week. And Nakamigos – CLOAKS makes their debut in style with over $1.6 million in trading volume!

Volatility among these projects remains high, with surges and drops on a weekly basis. But it still feels like the overall trading volume for the top NFT collections remains on a downward trend. Projects that were once regularly trading over $5 million in value a week are down a third or less of that volume!

That being said, I do feel like we are on an upward trend in regards to NFT usage. From games to user identity to real estate transactions, and more! As to whether we’ll once again have NFTs regularly trading for over a million dollars apiece remains to be seen.
