New WoW Dragonflight Ad allows players to get their own dragon

A new World of Warcraft: Dragonflight ad with several prominent actors is bringing on the new expansion’s hype by showing off that players can get their very own dragons from World of Warcraft.

Starring David Harbour from Stranger Things, Pedro Pascal from Game of Thrones, and Lana Condor from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, the short ad has each of the actors show off their very own dragons.

On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, Blizzard Entertainment released a short ad to bring hype more hype for Dragonflight’s launch.

Starring different celebrities, namely David Harbour, Pedro Pascal, and Lana Condor, each of them took turns showing off their very own dragons. In addition to that ad, each of the celebrities took to their own Social Media accounts to showcase the full length of their version of the ad.

David Harbour showed off his dragon by jumping into a crash pad, dodging the winged beast’s flames, Pedro Pascal showcased his dragon by having him in his own hangar calling him “PJ’, and Lana Condor played fetch with her dragon.

To go alongside the ad, players can also summon their own dragon through the augmented reality experience. By clicking this link and scanning the QR code, watchers can see their very own dragon through their phones.

Watchers can pick and choose from four dragons: a Velocidrake, a Highland Drake, a Wylderdrake, and a Renewed Proto-Drake. Once they’ve chosen their dragon, and set the scene, the dragon will appear on their phone screens—they even roar and curl up!
