This article will show how to get Hats in Palworld

Palworld has quite an expansive customisation option available, ranging from different outfits, dyes, accessories and many many more. With all these options on our hands, it should be safe to say that there are hats in the game, and that is indeed the case.

In Palworld, you can get various caps or hats, each with a different look and added benefits. In this article, we’ll be looking at how to get these and where. It’s important to note that there are probably more of these accessories out in the open world, so we will be covering the ones we are aware of for now.

How to Get Hats: Obtaining the Schematics

Crafting gear in Palworld requires an item called ‘Schematics’ and more often than not, they’ll let you craft equipment that is pretty damn good. Such is the case for making hats and caps as well. Most of them will require you to grab these schematics first before you can craft them.

Now where do you get these schematics? Just like in any other RPG game, you’ll have to scour the open world and find them in various areas, or you could find them being sold by the many merchants in the game. One of these merchants include the Wandering Merchant located in the Small Settlement area.

For 500 gold each, the Wandering Merchant will have the following schematics for sale:

  • Long-eared Headband.
  • Farming Hat
  • Bowler Hat
  • Tocotoco Cap
  • Gumoss Cap
  • Penking Cap

Once you get the schematics in your hands, it will automatically unlock the recipe the next time you check your crafting bench. As long as you have the right materials, simply craft the accessory you want and it’ll be stored in your chest for you to use. For example, the Witch Hat requires x12 Cloth and x2 Ingots to craft.

What do The Hats do?

They don’t just look pretty, most of these headgear have added benefits to them and are must-haves if you want to survive in the not-so-friendly world of Palworld.

For example, the Witch Hat gives you Dark Damage Reduction while the Bowler Hat will give you Neutral Damage Reduction instead.

So it’s worthwhile to go out of your way and hunt down some of these accessories, not just for the fashion but for your life as well! And of course, if you don’t like the default color of the hats, then you always have the option to dye them to whatever color you want.

And that concludes our article about Hats in Palworld. We hope this provided some insight as to what these are and what they do, but if you’re curious about other aspects of the game, then be sure to check out our other articles like how to get high quality Pal oil or Palworld kindling.
