First off, full disclosure, I am David Delke the founder of Jumbbble. Ever wanted to just see the customer service rep? Or maybe just see their screen? or better yet, show them your screen? I am going to show you how to set up live video support on your Shopify site so you can do just that with your customers, and potential customers using Jumbbble.
First, let’s go to jumbbble.com and create an account. This tutorial can be done on a free account so no need to worry. Let’s create a team. Select “create a team” and enter an awesome name, this will not be displayed anywhere but to other team members. The next step is going to the “code” section and copying our script tag ( which is specific to our team ).
Simply click on the snippet to copy the code. Next, let’s go to your Shopify page.
Here, you will select “online store” -> “themes” and then “actions” then “edit code”.
Next, we will select “theme.liquid” in the layout folder and paste our code snippet at the end of the <head> tag but before the {{content_for_header}} line.
While here we will also go back to our Jumbbble account “code” section and copy the <div> code, then paste it under the start of the <body> tag.
Click save and then preview. You don’t see the widget because we have one more step. Copy the url of your Shopify store.
Let’s go to your own Jumbbble account and select settings -> domains . Here we will add our Shopify domain making sure to delete the last “/” from the url.
Click “add domain” and then “update team”. Now when we go to our Shopify site you can see the Jumbbble widget is there and ready to be activated and connecting customers with your team.
Now you refresh your Shopify site and are ready to get going. 🎉
