Genshin Impact 2.6 will be a very diverse update with a lot of new content. The patch has scheduled only original events this time around, with no reruns in the bunch, so there will be plenty of exciting celebrations ahead!

The Genshin Impact 2.6 story will be primarily divided between the Irodori Festival in Inazuma and the exploration of the Chasm.

Here is everything we know about all the upcoming Genshin Impact 2.6 events.

Genshin Impact 2.6 Banners

Genshin Impact 2.6 is arriving on March 30, 2022. The six-week cycle is divided into two parts.

• Kamisato Ayato is the only confirm new character coming to Genshin Impact 2.6 and the only character banner in the first phase.
• The first weapon banner will feature the new 5-star sword Haran Tsukishiro Futsu, the signature weapon of Kamisato Ayato.

The second phase banners will include two reruns. It is most likely we are seeing Kazuha and Yomiya returns.

If this is the case, we will see the return of the bow Thundering Pulse, Yoimiya’s weapon.

Genshin Impact 2.6 Events

In the coming update, the Electro Nation of Inazuma will celebrate the festival Irodori Festival. The event will involve several characters: Kazuha, Yoimiya, Ayaka, Klee, Sara, Venti, Yae Miko.

The Irodori Festival will include the special participation of Albedo and Xingqiu, who will be presenting their book in Inazuma, and Ayato, who will have his story quest.

By completing challenges, players will obtain Xingqiu for free!

Details

• The boss is a mechanism created with Abyss Tech.

• The design of the Ruin Serpent indicates it was used as a drilling machine.
• The Ruin Serpent will drop materials for future characters like Yelan.

Spices from the West

Spices from the West will introduce a female NPC from Sumeru, the Dendro Nation. The event will be related to gastronomy and exploration.

Vibro-Crystal Research

The Vibro-Crystal Research is a combat challenge event similar to A Study in Potions. The use of crystals will produce different buffs for your party that will help you defeat mobs of enemies.

Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens will be a laid-back event that will require players to use the in-game photo camera.

Release of The Chasm

Genshin Impact 2.6 will focus majorly on the new region, The Chasm, the border between Liyue and Sumeru.

The land is a big crater produced by the impact of a Celestial Body. The new area will introduce new enemies and new game mechanics.

Spyral Abyss Genshin Impact 2.6

The Spiral Abyss introduced two new mechanics, Energy Sap and Resurrection, making the abyss more challenging than ever.

The artifact boxes from Floors 9-12 of Spiral Abyss will no longer have artifacts from the Gladiator and Wanderer’s Troupe sets in Genshin Impact 2.6. They will be replaced by the new artifact sets in 2.6, Vermillion Hereafter and Echoes of an Offering

Blessing of the Abyssal Moon:

• Phase 1
  • Normal Attack hits afflict the enemy with a debuff th
    at expires after 10s, dealing True DMG at the time of expiry. Normal Attack hits on an enemy affected by the debuff further increase the damage from the debuff’s removal.
  • This effect can stack up to 10 times.
• Phase 2
  • After a character’s Normal Attack hits opponents, the DMG dealt by this character’s Normal Attacks will increase by 12% for 5s. This effect can stack up to 5 times.
  • Each stack is calculated independently. This effect can be triggered once every 0.1s.
• Phase 3

• Normal Attack damage reduces Physical/Elemental RES of the enemy by 6% for 6s, matching the type of damage dealt.
• This effect can stack up to 7 times. RES decreases of different types can stack with independent timers and stack counts.

Rewards: High-Level Artifacts, Ascencion Materials, and Primogems.
