Fastest Way to Level in Shadowlands 9.1

Below are some of the most important things to keep in mind when trying to level up quickly in Shadowlands

Below are some of the most important things to keep in mind when trying to level up quickly in Shadowlands / Activision Blizzard

What is the fastest way to level in Shadowlands 9.1? There are a handful of options you must consider if you are trying to level as fast as possible in 9.1.

Rested XP

Make sure to log out in an Inn or any major city to gain rested XP. While rested XP can get pretty specific in how it works, you will know you are rested if your player portrait glows, and your level circle says “zzz.”

Rested XP gives you bonus XP to a certain point, until you spend all of your rested points. You rack up more rested points the longer you stay logged out in any Inn or major city.

Wowpedia has a fantastic entry that breaks down rested XP really well.

Heirlooms

Heirlooms are a little different in Shadowlands than they were in the past. Previously, many heirlooms would give a 5% increase in XP gained, and the more heirlooms you had on, the more you could stack this 5% XP buff.

Blizzard has done away with the 5% buff from Heirlooms, instead opting for set bonuses that reduce rested XP consumed. Two heirlooms reduce rested XP consumed by 30%, and six heirlooms will reduce rested XP consumption by an additional 30%.

War Mode

Once you reach level 30, you can turn on War Mode in your talent window. War Mode will give you a 10-30% XP bonus, depending on your level.

While War Mode is turned on, you are effectively on a PvP server, and can be slain by any member of the opposite faction, so long as you are out of any starting zone. War Mode should most definitely be thrown on once you hit level 30, as other players shouldn’t slow you down as fast as the 10-30% XP bonus ends up helping.

Darkmoon Faire

The Darkmoon Faire is a once a month event that can provide players with a couple buffs that increase XP greatly.

Riding the carousel for a measly amount of coins will give you the “Whee!” buff, which grants the player 10% bonus XP for an hour. The Darkmoon Top Hat when worn will give you a 10% bonus XP buff, but only while the Darkmoon Faire is in town.

These buffs are handy, but the time spent to go out the way into the Darkmoon Faire is generally not worth the trade-off most of the time. If you have a batch of a ton of quests, say 15+, then it may be worth it to head to the Darkmoon Faire and grab both the Whee and Hat buff, but even then the time spent is debatable.

Join a Guild!

Lastly, while not an outright buff in XP gained, joining a guild can help speed up the leveling process greatly.

Since the Cataclysm expansion, Guild Perks have existed. Guild Perks are bonuses a Guild bestows on any member of the Guild, whether you are the founder or just joined a second ago. The two Guild Perks that are most useful are Mount Up and Hasty Hearth.

Mount Up increases speed while mounted by 10%, and Hasty Hearth reduces the cooldown of your Hearthstone by 15 minutes, making the cooldown 15 minutes instead of 30 minutes.

FPX stomp OMG in Crisp’s return, climb to second place in 2021 LPL Summer Split

Published

on

FunPlus Phoenix picked up a dominant 2-0 series win over Oh My God today in Crisp’s return to the starting roster in the seventh week of the 2021 LPL Summer Split.

The MVP votes for today’s series went to the carries of FPX, Doinb and Lwx. FPX’s mid laner dominated the first match with a ludicrous Sylas performance. Doinb picked up back-to-back triple kills in the mid game and rolled over his opponents, finishing the match deathless with a KDA of 9/0/6. Lwx secured his MVP vote after picking Vayne in the second game, moving swiftly in teamfights and delivering huge amounts of damage before ending with a KDA of 10/0/9.

In both matches of today’s League of Legends series, there was a clear difference between the skill and mechanics of the FPX and OMG players. While OMG played reactively and tried to adapt to the situations in front of them, FPX went for a lot of early-game plays to create a lead and snowball the match. With no room left for errors, FPX picked up two quick 20-minute wins to round out today’s match and move into their next series with a lot of confidence.

FPX (9-3) will be back on the Rift on Friday, July 23 with a match against Suning (7-5) at 6am CT. The 2020 Worlds finalists have been looking strong but they shouldn’t be too difficult of a challenge for the 2019 world champions if FPX continue to play as they have been.

PES has been rebranded to eFootball, will be fully free-to-play

Published

on

Konami has officially renamed its soccer game franchise Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) to eFootball, which will come out this Autumn as an only-digital, free-to-play title for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, with a mobile version for Android and iOS coming later.

All versions of the game will feature cross-play, but mobile players will need a controller to play against PC and console users.

It’s a huge rebrand for the game that has been called PES in the West and Winning Eleven in Japan for years. EFootball switches from the traditional annual paid releases that it has been using for years alongside its competitor EA Sports’ FIFA and will focus on providing yearly updates for the seasons instead.

The game will launch with friendly matches and apparently, a selection of nine clubs to play with—Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Arsenal, Corinthians, Flamengo, São Paulo, and River Plate—and will subsequently sell the other game modes as optional DLCs.

Image via Konami

It’s unclear at the moment how new teams will be added to the game and if Konami will charge players who want to have a broader selection of soccer clubs to play. Konami is yet to reveal its strategy for eFootball My Club, which is the equivalent of FIFA Ultimate Team, and the series’ long-running career mode, Master League, but said that the game is designed to be “fair and balanced” for all players.

IGN has confirmed that eFootball will continue featuring the Option Files, which allows players to customise much of the game, including unlicensed teams, and share those files with friends or the community. The support for Option Files, though, will be added post-launch. The game will no longer run on Konami’s FOX Engine and will use a custom engine based on Unreal 4 instead.

The move to a new engine allowed eFootball to add a new Motion Matching animation system, which Konami says allows for four times as many animations as previous PES games. Motion Matching will be applied to all versions of the game, even on mobile.

It seems that Konami will be a true competitor to EA Sports this year, especially because eFootball will be free-to-play and will allow cross-play between all platforms, a feature that FIFA is yet to implement on any level. These changes have everything to attract the casual player base of FIFA, who is seemingly tired of paying for annual releases and watch EA put most of its effort in the Ultimate Team series, instead of focusing on the career mode, for example.

SofM leads Suning to a dominant victory over LNG Esports in seventh week of 2021 LPL Summer Split

Published

on

Suning bounced back after an upset last week by Rogue Warriors, taking down LNG Esports in a dominant 2-1 series in the 2021 LPL Summer Split.

Going into this League of Legends series, it was unclear who would come out on top since both teams looked dominant recently. Even though LNG lost a couple of series after a strong start of the split, they still look like one of the best teams LPL has to offer. Suning on the other hand had a weak start but has ramped up their performance and look stronger than ever, ready to take down other LPL behemoths to secure their LPL champion title.

The MVP votes for today’s series went to the top side of Suning, Bin and SofM. Both players had a strong showing with the top laner picking up his MVP vote after a monstrous Camille performance, where he finished with a KDA of 8/1/2 after picking up kills left and right. SofM picked up his vote after a non-traditional Kha’Zix build, rushing Edge of Night, before going for other Legendary items and ignoring Mythics. He helped his teammates poke down the opposing team, before jumping in to finish targets. He also managed to secure the crucial Infernal Dragon Soul in the last match, which sealed their opponent’s fate.

Today’s series was close, with both teams trading blow for blow in every match. After being demolished by a champion, teams would ban it for the next game to avoid repeating the same situation. In the first game of the series, Bin on Camille was the star, securing a couple of kills during the laning phase and taking over the game with the powerful top laner. In the second match, Tarzan from LNG stepped up and demolished Suning with Xin Zhao, equalizing the series.

The last match was the closest in today’s series with both teams failing to acquire a significant gold lead for most of the match. The match was decided at the Infernal Dragon Soul, where both teams went with three dragons under their belt. Even though LNG had the upper edge at the start of the teamfight, a crucial steal by SofM sealed their fate and helped Suning secure this series win.

Suning (7-5) climbed to sixth place with this victory and is sitting at a comfortable spot in the battle for the playoffs. They’ll be back on the Rift with a crucial match against FunPlus Phoenix on Friday, July 23. The team led by Doinb in the mid-lane has been very dominant throughout the split and will pose a huge challenge for Suning to take down.
