ESL SC2 Masters Summer 2023 Format and Schedule

Taking place this weekend, between the 16th and 18th June, this premier event features the best 48 players in the world. Specifically, this involves players from two ways of qualification:

• Open Stage – 32 players competing in a double elimination bracket, BO3 matches – 4 players seed into Knockout Bracket

• Knockout Bracket – an epic bracket with the remaining competitors, only eight move onto the Playoffs
• Playoffs – single elimination bracket

ESL SC2 Masters Summer Predictions

Solar vs ByuN

The last time these two players met up, was back at the 2023 Global StarCraft II League Season 1: Code S – one of the best Starcraft II tournaments. 

Back then, both players pulled off a rather impressive run, with ByuN finishing 3-4th and Solar finishing 7-8th.

Moreover, these are two of the best South Korean players in the world, facing off in the first round similar to other match-ups featured.

Gumiho vs Cure

On the topic of South Korean stars, Cure recently finished second at the mentioned Global StarCraft II League Season 1: Code S. In addition, the rising star has recently won the World Team League 2022 Winter.
