Enjin’s Efinity Is Now The First NFT Parachain On Polkadot

Enjin’s Efinity is now the first NFT parachain on Polkadot and it vowed to support CryptoBlades with its one million users so let’s read more in today’s latest blockchain news.

The popular ecosystem for NFTs, Enjin just launched the first NFT parachain on Polakdot while at the end of 2021, the Efinity project won Polkadot’s parachain auction for the year with a fundraiser of over $214 million worth of DOT. At that time, the blockcahin protocol noted that Efinity will go live by March 2022. according to the documents released, Enjin’s Efinity NFT infrastructure launched as the first parachain on Polkadot. Peter Mauric who is the Head of Public Affairs at Parity Technologies, argued that the community met with the initiative with excitement as Efinity delivered a solution for NFTs and it is affordable and environmentally responsible.

Efinity announced that one of the projects will integrate CryptoBlades which is a play to earn NFT RPG with over 1.1 million users while other leading entities such as lost relics, My Metaverse, Age of Rust, and SwissBorg showed support towards this endeavor. The CEO of CryptoBlades Philip Devine commented:

“Efinity will bring immediate value to users with native support for NFTs and a full suite of NFT gaming utilities developed by Enjin. Along with our play-to-earn title CryptoBlades, we are excited to make our NFT bridging, curated marketplace, and launchpad available via Efinity.”

Enjin’s NFT project offers a leap towards NFT scaling and it Is now capable of minting over 2000 digital collectibles per transaction with the fees times being lower than the existing enterprises. The co-founder and CTO at Enjin Witek Ramoski revealed that his company spent about four years developing affinity:

 “There will be no other chain that allows this level of customizability and interactivity in NFT applications at scale.”

The blockchain-powered gaming platform established a $100 million fund that is oriented towards the Metaverse realm. The initiative focuses on helping organizations develop these NFT projects on Efinity and Polkadot. Enjin recently disclosed that it will deploy funds to support the gaming projects across all platforms and will expand to other protocols like Mixed Reality.
