DreamHack Winter is back for 2023, with dates and Early Bird Tickets now also confirmed and ready for sale.

DreamHack Winter is an iconic LAN event in Europe, and even more so in Sweden. For 2023, the event is being presented by ESL FACEIT Group, and Swedish retailer Elgiganten. The event will see the return of its iconic BYOC LAN party, live music, esports tournaments, alongside sponsor and partner booths and other fun events. The event will take place on November 23rd to 25th, at the Elmia Congress Center in Jönköping, Sweden. The same venue that hosts the event every year, and its slightly warmer DreamHack Summer counterpart.

DreamHack Winter Tickets

Early Bird options are now available, with tickets starting at 149 SEK (about $13) for a single day, and 449 SEK ( $35) for all three days.

For 2023, DreamHack Winter will be upgrading the LAN experience, offering more unique options. Quiet LAN and Legendary LAN tickets allow those attending more variety in their LAN going experience. Quiet LAN tickets will be placed in a quieter area of the venue, and unlike in previous years, the age restriction has been lifted.

For those in Hall C, they can now upgrade to a Legendary LAN ticket, offering a gaming chair, monitor, and access to the DreamHack afterparty (providing you’re 18+). Anyone on the Premium, Legendary, and Premium LAN will also receive and limited edition collectible for attending the event.

Alternatively, you can stick with the regular LAN ticket. For 2023, these now come with padded seats, and improvements to the desks, which are now larger than they were at previous events. The event will have on-site food and drink available for purchase for anyone.

DreamHack Winter Esports Events

ESL Challenger Jönköping

Eight Counter-Strike teams from across the globe face off live in front of thousands of fans for their share of the $100,000 (1m SEK) prize pool and their chance to qualify for the ESL Pro League Season 19 next year. The European, North American, South American, and Asian Open Qualifiers start on October 10. The top two teams then join two to six invited teams in the regional Closed Qualifiers from which the best team from each region proceeds to ESL Challenger Jönköping on 24-26 November. There they will face off against each other and four teams qualified via their position in the ESL World Ranking for the coveted title.

ESL R1 2023 Fall Major

ESL R1 2023 is set to return with its Fall Season, which will culminate in the 2023 Fall Major at DreamHack Winter. Each season, the 24 top-ranked drivers across 12 different teams will advance to the ESL R1 Major, where they will face off to decide who will become the new ESL R1 Champion.
