City pop meets stocks (really!) with the Steam Early Access release of Ternox Games’ STONKS-9800: Stock Market Simulator on July 17.

Featuring retro anime and vaporwave aesthetics, STONKS-9800: Stock Market Simulator lives up to its name by mixing visual novel elements with stock market simulator gameplay through 80s-era Japan.

This title has been designed to evoke a chill, nostalgic vibe while still letting players buy stocks, get dividends, monitor the prices, and deal with serious themes. It’s not all work though; players can also take part in pachinko and horse racing betting.

Meanwhile, the full release of the game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2024.
