5. Daughter of the Evening
The Daughter of the Evening shield is one of the best in the game due to its high stats and the ability to claim it very early in a playthrough. Any player planning on sticking with the Fighter vocation should make claiming this shield the first thing on their bucket list. Its Strength stat of 80 and Knockdown Power of 290 are crazy good for the early game, and the fact that it can block Medusa’s gaze is a huge bonus.
Claiming the Daughter of the Evening shield isn’t very hard; you just need to get into Vernworth Castle. Once inside, you can get the shield from the Vernworth Castle Vault on the southeastern side of the castle.

My personal favorite shield in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is Dragon’s Faith. It’s not only great because of its stats but also because it’s the coolest-looking shield in the game. Perfect for late game and even strong enough for the Unmoored World, you may never want to switch to another after equipping this beast.
