Focus Entertainment and DON’T NOD has released the official gameplay breakdown trailer for their upcoming action thriller, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. In this trailer players will discover all the core features of the game before playing the story-driven action-RPG, which promises to blend a compelling and personal narrative with a dynamic combat system.
Players will take on the roles of two skilled ghost hunters and partners,Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith, as they face challenging decisions with profound consequences for both the living and the dead. In this new trailer, players will navigate the lands of New Eden, learning more about Antea’s and Red’s purpose as Banishers and how they can help lift the curse affecting the people within New Eden – while also dealing with their own tragedy as lovers: one living, one dead.
The trailer shows a mix of combat styles with Red’s rifle, sword, and firebane alongside Antea’s ethereal attacks. With her otherworldly skills, Antea can unveil the unseen and unleash devastating spiritual attacks, from teleportation to spectral damage zones. Players will be able to switch between characters effortlessly to create combos and powerful synergies as Antea and Red face increasingly malicious foes.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will launch in three distinct versions, the standard edition for $49.99 USD on PC and $59.99 USD on consoles will contain the based game, while the ‘Red Echoes Edition’ will contain an old leather-bound journal illustrated with Red’s memories, as well as an ink writing set, the based game, and the downloadable “Wanderer Set” content and will be $84.99 USD. Lastly, there’s the Collector’s Edition, this premium edition of Ghosts of New Eden will be $199.99 USD and contains the following items:
