The 2024 NFL Draft is over and teams are getting comfortable with their new draft picks. The next class of players is getting prepared now for another year of college football. Each position will be analyzed in the coming days. Here is the 2025 NFL Draft prospect watchlist: Offensive Tackles.
Kelvin Banks, Texas Longhorns
As a five-star prospect in the class of 2022, Banks signed with the Longhorns to stay in-state. He started at left tackle in his first season and was a Freshman All-American. In 2023 his play helped Texas make the College Football Playoff and he was named a Second Team All-American.
He has a filled out frame, as he is 6-foot-4 and 324 pounds. Banks can anchor well and can overpower opponents. He can work on keeping his pad level down and getting to the second level a little quicker to make more of an impact.
Will Campbell, LSU Tigers
Campbell was a four-star recruit in the class of 2022 and decided to stay in-state and play for the Tigers. He started at left tackle as a freshman for LSU in 2022 and was a Freshman All-American. Campbell returned to the starting lineup in 2023 and was named First Team All-SEC.
He has good size for the position at 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds. Campbell has held up well in pass protection with the ability to anchor well. He can improve his footwork and show that he can move smoother laterally this season.
Emery Jones, LSU Tigers
Jones was a four-star recruit, who decided to stay home in Baton Rouge and play for the Tigers. He was named a Freshman All-American as the right tackle on the offensive line. In 2023, Jones was named Second Team All-SEC, showing solid development in the process.
At 6-foot-6 and 322 pounds, Jones’s listed size is great for the NFL level. He is a good athlete with solid flexibility. Jones has a good ability to anchor as well. Jones needs to clean up his technique with his footwork and hand placement as well.
Blake Miller, Clemson Tigers
Miller joined Clemson as a three-star recruit out of Ohio in 2022. He started in his first season on campus, becoming a Freshman All-American. For the 2023 season, Miller again impressed and was an All-ACC selection.
He stands at 6-foot-6 and 310 pounds, which is a solid start for an NFL career. Miller moves well for his size and can get to the second level. He can also mirror pass rushers well. Adding strength and showing he can anchor better can help him improve his stock.
Other Draft Prospects to Watch
Josh Conerly, Oregon Ducks- Conerly played sparingly as a freshman, but really impressed at left tackle for the Ducks in 2023. A move to the Big Ten can help him prove himself even more.
Joshua Gray, Oregon State Beavers- Gray isn’t the biggest tackle, but he has played well for the Beavers over a long college career. He won’t be able to prove himself as much this season, as Oregon State won’t play a tough schedule this season.
Wyatt Milum, West Virginia Mountaineers-Milum has played both left and right tackle at West Virginia. He has plenty of experience for the Mountaineers and could take a step forward this season.
