Team of the Year season is finally upon us, with EA Sports announcing the TOTY voting for the best 11 in FIFA 22. Voting lasts for one week, meaning that very soon we should be getting the defenders, midfielders or attackers added to packs.
Team of the Year celebrates the best performing players from the past year with the biggest and best singular upgrades. They are the most sought-after items in the game for players, with users choosing to save numerous amounts of packs or spending thousands of FIFA Points, hoping to get one while they’re available. EA Sports has made recent improvements to the promotion to give players more items to pack outside of the prestigious team.
With the new voting schedule announced by EA today, here’s when we expect TOTY to arrive in FIFA 22.

The TOTY voting officially went live on Monday, Jan 10, allowing fans to vote for their best 11 players to receive special items in FIFA Ultimate team. According to EA Sports, voting will run until next Monday, Jan. 17. Based on this, TOTY should arrive later that week, likely on Friday, Jan. 21.
Based on EA’s decision making, we can expect either the defenders, midfielders or attackers to come first that Friday, and be available by themselves in packs for two to three days, before being replaced by the other two sets of the team.
