DreamHack Open June will be comprised of two online tournaments, one in North America and one in Asia, taking place on June 29-July 3 with a combined prize pool of $100,000 as well as ESL Pro Tour points in play.

The prize pool is split 70%-30% in favor of the North American region as it will be an eight-team event with a group stage and playoffs compared to Asia’s four-team double elimination bracket.

Two spots per region are saved for teams from the qualifiers

Both tournaments will have two open qualifiers running on June 10-11 and 12-13 (inscriptions and detailed information can be found tại đây) that will provide each open qualifier winner a spot in the closed qualifier. The eight-team closed qualifier in North America and the four-team closed qualifier in Asia will in turn each afford two spots at their respective region’s main tournament.

The rest of the teams at the main events will be invited by the organizer according to the ESL world ranking, six in North America and two in Asia, although it has not yet been revealed what teams are confirmed to compete at the tournaments.
