Date:

Renowned for its stunning landscapes, world-class education, and innovation-driven economy, Switzerland stands as a global hub for finance, technology, and quality living. In this environment of innovation, Venturelab has been organizing the annual TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award. Since its debut in 2011, TOP100 has grown from a leading startup ranking into a reference platform open to investors comprising the annual rankings, Investor Day, an Awards Ceremony, and a series of exclusive events across Switzerland.

The award assembles a panel of 100 distinguished investors and startup experts to identify the most promising and innovative startups in Switzerland. Over its 13-year history, the 553 startups featured have raised over €13.2 billion, marked 79 exits along with nine IPOs, and created nearly 18,000 jobs. Additionally, the platform serves as a meeting place where Swiss executives, investors, and journalists can gain cutting-edge insights, strengthen their networks, and forge new business partnerships.

The podium at the awards ceremony for the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Ranking 2023, held on September 6th, featured startups from three diverse sectors: biotech, food tech, and fintech. According to the program’s leadership, the rankings highlight the robust and diverse deeptech expertise within the Swiss startup community.
