Steam is gearing up for a major Lunar New Year sale. Of course, the Lunar New Year is one of the largest holidays in the world, so it’s not a surprise to see Steam getting ready to start a new sale for it. But despite the fact that the Lunar New Year isn’t until February 1, the signs are pointing to the sale starting next week. These are according to leaked dates that were posted on SteamDB, despite the fact that the Steam Winter Sale was just a few weeks ago. With Steam Deck currently still on track to meet its revised February 2022 release date, there's a lot of work going on behind-the-scenes in preparation for launch, including Valve's extensive drive to rate every game on Steam for compatibility with its highly anticipated portable gaming PC - and the first batch of Steam titles to have received ratings, whether that be a fully compatible Verified or otherwise, have now appeared for perusal online.

Valve first discussed its Steam Deck Verified initiative back in October, announcing it had started reviewing the entire Steam catalogue to create a new compatibility ratings system - labelling games as either Verified, Playable, Unsupported, and Unknown - that would provide Steam Deck users with a simple means of checking how games will function on their system.

Valve’s Steam Deck is close to releasing, and now, there’s more information regarding its compatibility with different titles. The big question on everyone’s minds at the moment is how many games will officially be supported on the device. Fortunately, we’re starting to see a range of titles that are seemingly compatible with the Steam Deck.
