Atlus just provided a sales update on the combined sales of Shin Megami Tensei V and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Between the two versions, the RPG has sold over 1.6 million copies worldwide.
Shin Megami Tensei V originally released only for Switch in November 2021. By April of 2022, Atlus announced that total sales had surpassed 1.6 million copies.
The new version of the game, Shin Megami Tensei V / Vengeance, just came out last Friday. This time around, Atlus shipped it across all platforms rather than keeping it a Switch exclusive.
The news about today’s Shin Megami Tensei V / Vengeance sales news was posted on social media. Atlus didn’t provide a breakdown by platforms, which is the norm. However, it was confirmed that Vengeance sold over 500,000 copies worldwide in its first three days.
