Raspberry pi zero case for 8086 zero dongle #3DThursday #3DPrinting

I’ve seen a few 8086 zero dongle cases but they all seemed a bit square, so i spent a little bit of time creating my own.

You can see two versions of the base, one with port access and another without.

This a screwless case for the 8086 solderless usb dongle that allows you to use your raspberry pi zero as a gadget.

I’ve created a couple of lids for this, with and without space for the header.

The case itself also has thin walls where the Pizero hdmi, camera and usb power plugs are, so if you need to you can push them out if you want that access.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
