Pokémon UNITE has finally been given a release date for mobile.
So far, fans have only been able to enjoy the online multiplayer on Nintendo Switch. Fans have been eagerly awaiting news on when the planned mobile version would be released. Now, The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon UNITE will be available for mobile on Sept. 22.
The release date was announced as part of the recent Pokémon Presents showcase, broadcasted on Aug. 18. Pre-registration will be going live today for Android and iOS devices so players looking to get signed up early can do so now.

Players can preregister for Pokémon UNITE by downloading the app on either the App Store or Google Play and complete the log-in event.
Pokémon UNITE is adding an extra incentive for players who preregister ahead of time. If the total number of preregistrations reaches 2,500,000, participants will receive a Pikachu Unite license. If the total manages to reach 5,000,000, participants will get a special Holowear – Festival Style: Pikachu. If these thresholds are reached, players can claim the rewards by logging into the Mobile version of the game and complete the log-in event by Oct. 31.
Nintendo Switch users can log into their version of the game and claim a Zeraora Unite license. If the same linked log-in is used for mobile, players will be able to use Zeraora when the mobile version when it launches on Sept. 22.
